DHAKA, May 25, 2026 (BSS) – The government has promoted Md Ataur Rahman Khan, additional secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, to the rank of secretary at the Ministry of Commerce.

The Ministry of Public Administration today issued a gazette notification in this regard.

According to the notification, Ataur Rahman had been serving as an additional secretary at the home ministry before his promotion and subsequent appointment to the commerce ministry.
