DHAKA, May 23, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh Railway will launch Eid special train services from tomorrow to ease the travel of homebound passengers ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

The first service, Parbatipur Eid Special-10, will depart Parbatipur at 8:15 am for Joydebpur, with arrival scheduled at around 2:20 pm.

In the return direction, Parbatipur Eid Special-9 will leave Joydebpur at 5 pm tomorrow for Parbatipur.

According to Bangladesh Railway, Chandpur Eid Special 1 and 2 as well as Tista Eid Special 3 and 4 will also start operating from May 25.

The special train services will run for three days during the pre-Eid rush to help manage passenger pressure and ensure smoother travel across key routes.

After Eid, similar special services will be operated to facilitate the return journey of people going back to their workplaces.
