DHAKA, May 20, 2026 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon met senior Google officials on the sidelines of the Education World Forum 2026 at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London, United Kingdom yesterday.

Google for Education Pacific Region Director Colin Marson and Head of Solutions Engineering Oli Trussell attended the meeting, an official release said today.

During the meeting, the Google officials briefed the minister on the company's initiatives to further expand the use of technology for the development of education systems in different countries.

The meeting also discussed in detail how Google could assist in implementing the Bangladesh government's plans to enhance the use of technology in the education sector.

Particular emphasis was given on Google's support for implementing the "One Teacher, One Tab" programme.
