Dhaka, Islamabad seek deeper multidimensional ties

DHAKA, April 29, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh and Pakistan today expressed hope for making bilateral relations deeper and more multidimensional through expanded cooperation in trade, investment and other sectors.

This was revealed when Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon here, said a press release here. 

During the talks, the two sides discussed various issues of mutual interest and reviewed the state of bilateral relations.

They particularly stressed the need for strengthening relations, increasing trade and investment, and expanding cooperation in different sectors.

Both sides voiced optimism that ties between the two countries would grow stronger and broader in the days ahead.
