DHAKA, April 25, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has encouraged college student Rizwan Rashid Rion by driving a go-kart (racing car) built by the student. 

The premier inspected the go-kart on the premises of his Tejgaon office this noon, Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony told BSS.

At one stage, to inspire Rizwan Rashid, the Prime Minister himself drove the go-kart, Rony added.

After his HSC examinations, Rizwan built the go-kart using local parts with his own savings at a cost of only Taka one lakh.

The vehicle, built over two to three months of effort, has been locally tested and designed with safety in mind.
