CHATTOGRAM, April 24, 2026 (BSS)- Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar has inspected the canal excavation work at the Banglakhali canal in Parikoda Union of Anwara upazila today.

During the visit he asked the concerned officials to work with honesty and devotion to implement the Prime Minister’s visionary project.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Ziauddin and senior officials, BADC Executive Engineer Mosharraf Hossain were present.

The re-excavation work of the Banglakhali canal in Chattogram and Cox's Bazar districts began on April 18 as part of an irrigation development project.

Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) is implementing the project.
