DHAKA, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - A 151-member central committee of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Projonmo has been announced, with state minister for liberation war affairs Ishraque Hossain as president and Dr K M I Monty as general secretary.

A release signed by Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal President Ishtiaq Aziz Ulfat said this today.

The release said the central convening committee of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Projonmo, announced on November 24, 2025, has been dissolved to further strengthen the organization. The new committee will be effective from April 23.

Zahedul Haque Shamim has been made senior vice president, while 20 others were made vice presidents. Abdullah Al Mamun has been made joint general secretary, while 13 others were made assistant general secretaries.
