DHAKA, March 25, 2026 (BSS) - The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification promoting 264 officers to the post of Senior Assistant Secretary.

“Total 264 officers of the BCS (Administration) cadre have been promoted to the post of Senior Scale (Senior Assistant Secretary) under the National Pay Scale, Grade 6 of 2015 of the Bangladesh Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1981,” said the notification today. 

It stated that the promoted officers will have to send their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the Public Administration Ministry as Officers on Special Charge (Senior Assistant Secretary: [email protected]).

They will continue to work in their current position until further orders, it added.

This order has been issued in the public interest and will come into effect immediately.
