LAKSHMIPUR, March 23, 2026 (BSS) - Water Resources Minister Md. Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee has laid importance on disseminating accurate information and raising public awareness urging the people to verify information before accepting and sharing it.

“Misleading information or rumors can create instability in society. Therefore, everyone must act responsibly and come forward to promote truthful information,”  he said while exchanging Eid greetings with party leaders, activists, and local residents at the Baralia High School ground in Sadar upazila here.

He said maintaining transparency and integrity in political activities is essential. To gain public trust, it is necessary to continue positive efforts and service-oriented initiatives.

The minister called upon the people to remain vigilant and uphold social harmony.

Bangladesh Football Federation Vice President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, district BNP leaders Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan, Advocate Harunur Rashid Bepari, and Chandraganj Thana BNP President Belal Hossain, along with party leaders and activists at various levels, were present.
