DHAKA, March 21,,2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister’s Advisor on Education, Primary and Mass Education, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and Labour and Employment ministries Mahdi Amin has said the workers have returned to their homes safe with smiling face due to effective initiative and intensive supervision of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

A different and delighted   picture is being observed at the industrial zone of the country during this Eid as an uncertainty of unpaid salary and bonus along with labour resentment in the past several years wich was not witnessed  this year.

PM’s adviser said this in his verified facebook status here this evening.

An invisible anxiety was prevailed across the country for the last several years ahead of the Eid festival.

Labour resentment, unpaid salary, road blockade and uncertainty to return homes were the normal phenomenon but the picture of this year is totally different, he said, adding that an ease smile is now prevailing in the faces of the working people during this Eid.

The salary and Eid bonus of most of the workers working in different industrial factories including the ready made garment (RMG) has been ensured earlier, he said.

All the factories have paid the February salary and Eid bonus peacefully and most of the factories also have paid a bid portion of salary of the current month.

This massive operation has been possible due to direct instructions and supervision of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman along with the sincerity of labour  and employment ministry, the PM’s adviser said in his status.
