DHAKA, March 4, 2026 (BSS) - US-Bangla Airlines today announced additional special flights to Abu Dhabi alongside previously declared Dubai services to repatriate stranded Bangladeshi nationals from the United Arab Emirates amid ongoing Middle East airspace disruptions.
The private carrier earlier announced two special wide-body flights on the Dhaka-Dubai-Dhaka route to facilitate the return of Bangladeshi nationals affected by the regional aviation crisis.
According to the airline, the Dubai services will be operated using a 436-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft under flight numbers BS-341 (Dhaka-Dubai) and BS-342 (Dubai-Dhaka).
The first Dubai-bound flight is scheduled to depart Dhaka today at 7:20pm (BST) and return from Dubai at 12:20am (local time), while a second service will leave Dhaka on Thursday at 5:15pm (BST) and depart Dubai for Dhaka at 10:00pm (local time).
In a fresh announcement this morning, the airline said it will also operate a special humanitarian flight on the Dhaka-Chattogram-Abu Dhabi-Dhaka route today to support stranded passengers.
The flight will depart Dhaka for Abu Dhabi via Chattogram at 6:35pm (BST) and leave Chattogram at 8:20pm. The return service will depart Abu Dhabi at 1:00am (local time) for Dhaka.
This service will be operated using a 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft under flight numbers BS-349 (Dhaka/Chattogram-Abu Dhabi) and BS-350 (Abu Dhabi-Dhaka).
Airport authorities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have granted special permission to US-Bangla Airlines and several other international carriers to operate limited humanitarian flights in view of the prevailing situation in the Middle East.
The airline said priority will be given to Bangladeshi nationals whose visas have expired or are nearing expiration.
It also said the initiative will help facilitate the return of stranded passengers, including 28 flight crew members of national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines who have been stranded in different destinations in the UAE since February 28 due to the ongoing conflict situation.
Passengers seeking tickets or assistance have been advised to contact US-Bangla Airlines sales offices in Bangladesh or the UAE, authorised travel agencies, or the airline's hotline.
