MYMENSINGH, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yeaser Khan Choudhury has put emphasis on strengthening the Tathya Complexes across the country to make those centers as hub of all information about the districts.
The state minister said this during a visit to the district and views exchange meeting with the officials at the Mymensingh Circuit House this afternoon.
Highlighting the importance of the Tathya complex the state minister said Mymensingh is one of the 26 districts selected for the construction of modern district-level Tathya complexes.
Mymensingh Deputy Commissioner Saifur Rahman, director of district information office Mir Akram Uddin Ahmad and senior officials of the district administration were present.
Officials said land acquisition for construction of information offices has been completed in 17 districts of the Mymensingh division, while the site selection processes for nine others are in progress.
The seven-storey Mymensingh Information Complex will house offices of all departments under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and a multipurpose hall equipped for film screenings.
