THAKURGAON, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS) - Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today held an exchange of views meeting with the heads of various government offices in the district. 

The meeting took place at 11:30 am in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office. 

During the meeting, Mirza Fakhrul provided directives and guidance to the officials for the proper implementation of development programmes under their respective departments. 

He emphasized strengthening coordination among departments and ensuring timely execution of ongoing and upcoming projects for the overall development of the district.

The meeting concluded with a call for collective efforts to enhance public service delivery and accelerate district-level development activities.

Thakurgaon-2 constituency MP Dr Abdus Salam, Thakurgaon-3 constituency MP Zahidur Rahman, Thakurgaon District BNP President Mirza Faisal Amin and General Secretary Poigam Ali, and other local leaders attended the meeting.

Among those present were Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Farzana, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nazmul Haque Sumon, and heads of various government departments in the district.
