DHAKA, Feb 26, 2026 (BSS) - The Election Commission (EC) has issued an amended gazette notification correcting the results of the referendum held on February 12 on the July National Charter (Constitutional Reform) Implementation Order, 2025 and related constitutional reform proposals.

The notification was published on Wednesday.

As per the amended results, the number of 'Yes' votes stood at 4,72,25,980 which had previously been published as 4,82,00,660.

The revised number of 'No' votes is 2,19,60,231, previously reported as 22,071,726.

The corrected number of rejected votes is 74,35,196; earlier it was stated as 74,22,637.

The total number of votes cast in the referendum has been revised to 76,621,407, compared with 77,695,023 earlier reported.
