DHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS) - The United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in religious affairs, cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity.
The commitment was made when Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla Ali Abdulla Al Hmoudi paid a courtesy call on Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain Kaikobad at the Secretariat today, said an official handout.
The meeting highlighted the longstanding, historic and fraternal ties between Bangladesh and the UAE, with both sides reiterating their shared resolve to elevate bilateral relations to broader and more substantive dimensions.
The discussions were held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding, focusing on strengthening cooperation in religious affairs and expanding collaboration between the two friendly nations.
