DHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS) - The Cabinet Division has issued a fresh directive regarding office attendance for field-level officials and employees across the country.
The information was disclosed in an office order signed by Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet Division Khandoker Monwar Morshed here today.
According to the order, officials and employees of all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations are required to attend and leave their offices within the scheduled time in line with Directive No. 86 of the Secretariat Instructions, 2024 and the Government Servants (Regular Attendance) Rules, 2019.
The directive also requested the authorities concerned to take necessary measures and issue instructions to their respective departments and organizations to ensure compliance.
It further said that officials and employees working in field-level offices must obtain approval from the appropriate authority before leaving their offices during weekly and other government holidays.
