BARISHAL, Feb 21, 2026 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan today joined a views-exchange meeting with information officers of various departments under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting working in the Barishal Division.

The meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner.

During the meeting, the minister gave various directives to accelerate official activities.

The information officers presented the activities of their respective offices and sought the minister’s overall cooperation to further enhance the dynamism of their operations.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Khairul Alam Suman chaired the meeting while Divisional Commissioner Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Range DIG of Police Md. Monjur Morshed Alam, Superintendent of Police Farzana Islam, and Deputy Police Commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police Md. Abdul Hannan attended it, among others.
