DHAKA, Feb 18, 2026 (BSS) – Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku today said the government is giving top priority to ensuring uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan.

“I seek full cooperation from all concerned to ensure a smooth electricity supply during the fasting month of Ramadan. Everyone must work with dedication to maintain uninterrupted power supply,” he said while exchanging views with officials at the ministry’s conference room.

The minister said ensuring uninterrupted power supply is currently the government’s highest priority as demand is increasing.

He, however, noted that minor load shedding may occur due to technical reasons.
