DHAKA, Feb 7, 2026 (BSS) - Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, according to the latest weather forecast of Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The forecast, issued this morning effective for the next 24 hours beginning 9 am, said that light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during early morning. 

Night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country, it added.

The highest temperature recorded today was 32.4 degrees Celsius in Teknaf while the lowest temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius in Srimangal.

Wind direction and speed in Dhaka was north to northwesterly at 08-12 kilometres per hour while relative humidity in Dhaka at 6:00 am was recorded at 67 percent.

Today's sunset in Dhaka will be at 5:49 pm while tomorrow's sunrise will be at 6:37 am.
