DHAKA, Jan 27, 2026 (BSS) - Due to the 50th BCS preliminary test, the exam scheduled for the ongoing Diploma-in-Engineering course under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board on January 30 has been changed.

The board's examination controller, Engineer Md. Abul Kalam Azad, gave this information.

A notification issued from the Technical Education Board yesterday said the subject 'Basic Electricity' (26711) scheduled to be held on Friday (January 30) at 9:30 am will be held at 2:30 pm on the same day due to the BCS exam.

In addition, the dates of the two exams 'Survey CAD' (27832) and 'Industrial Electronics' (26833) scheduled for 2:30 pm on January 30 have been changed to 10 am on Sunday (February 1).

The Technical Education Board also said according to the changed schedule, the practical exam will start from February 1 and continue till February 7.

The practical exam on February 1 has been instructed to be taken in the 3rd and 4th shifts.

Although the date and time of the exam have been changed, all other terms and conditions of the previously issued notification will remain unchanged. All the centres and educational institutions concerned have already been informed about the changed schedule of the exam.
