RAJSHAHI, Jan 25, 2026 (BSS)- Results of the first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2025–2026 academic session at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) have been published.
RUET sources here said this noon the results were uploaded to RUET’s website, admission.ruet.ac.bd, on Saturday night.
Earlier, the admission tests were held on January 22 at RUET and BUET centers. A total of 15,567 candidates appeared in Group A, of whom 7,702 have been included in the merit list.
In Group B, 274 candidates have been placed on the merit list out of 497 examinees. Prospective students have been advised to regularly visit admission.ruet.ac.bd for detailed admission information and updates on subsequent merit lists.
Candidates included in the merit list must log in RUET admission portal (admission.ruet.ac.bd) and complete the departmental preference order (online choice form) between 10:00 am on February 3 and 5:00 pm on February 10.
No changes to preferences will be allowed after this period.
For engineering departments and the Urban and Regional Planning Department, a preference list of 13 choices must be submitted. However, no preference submission is required for the Architecture Department.
Candidates must be physically present at the RUET Guest House and Teachers’ Dormitory.
For Group A, candidates ranked 1 to 1200, and for Group B (Architecture), candidates ranked 1 to 30, must appear on the scheduled date.
Subject to seat availability, candidates ranked 1201 to 2000 in Group A and 31 to 50 in Group B (Architecture) will also be admitted on the same day.
Additionally, against 5 reserved seats for small ethnic communities, 18 candidates have been called based on merit order.
Selected candidates must bring the following documents for admission between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm on February 17.
The documents are- Printed copy of the filled up online admission form, original SSC or equivalent certificate, original SSC or equivalent grade sheet, original HSC or equivalent registration card issued by the education board, original HSC or equivalent grade sheet, original testimonial of HSC or equivalent from the last educational institution, two recent passport-size color photographs (no attestation required) and signed admit card of the RUET written admission test.
For admission to reserved seats, candidates must submit a certificate issued by the local Union Parishad Chairman, and a certificate issued by the tribal/ethnic community head (Morol /Headman/ Chief), duly attested by the Upazila Executive Officer or Deputy Commissioner.
After document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination on the same day. A blood group test report from a recognized diagnostic center must be carried out. Candidates who use glasses must bring them on the day of the medical test. The prescribed medical examination form can be downloaded from the admission test website.
Candidates declared medically fit must confirm their admission by depositing Taka 18,500 as the admission fee by 2:00 pm on February 18 at Rupali Bank PLC, RUET Branch.
However, candidates may also complete the admission process and deposit the required fee at the designated bank on the same day as admission.
