RAJSHAHI, Jan 15, 2026 (BSS)- A total of 2,72,626 students are going to appear in the admission test for first year honours courses in the 2025-26 academic year in Rajshahi University (RU) from tomorrow (Friday).

The students will take part in the test for 4,017 seats. On an average, 67 students will vie for every seat.

RU authority revealed this in a press conference held at its senate Bhaban this noon.  Pro-vice-chancellor Prof Mayeen Uddin addressed the press conference as the focal person detailing the three-day admission test.

He said the ‘C’ unit intake test will be held tomorrow (Friday), while the ‘A’ unit on Saturday in two shifts one from 11am to 12 noon and another from 3pm to 4pm. Another ‘B’ unit test will be held on January 24 from 11am to 12 noon.   

Prof Mayeen Uddin said the test will also be held in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Rangpur and Barishal apart from RU for the convenience of the students and the guardians.

The one-hour test will be held in Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) method and the admission-seekers were urged to enter into their respective rooms 30 minutes before the test began.
