SALNA, Gazipur, Dec 27, 2025 (BSS) - Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Adviser
Supradip Chakma today said the youth are the country's greatest asset,
stressing that skills and competence are the main keys to employment.

"The government is continuing all-out support to create employment
opportunities for the country's four crore youths," he said while speaking as
the chief guest at the UCEP Gazipur Region Job Fair-2025, held at the
regional office premises in Salna of Gazipur district.

The adviser said Bangladesh has a population of 18 crore, and if the four
crore youths can be developed into a skilled workforce, a fundamental
transformation of the country's socio-economic condition would be possible.

He noted that Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has always given
priority to youths.

Praising UCEP Bangladesh, Supradip Chakma said the organisation has been
playing a commendable role by equipping unemployed youths with technical
skills through vocational training.

He urged the concerned authorities to ensure employment opportunities for
these trained youths in both local and foreign institutions.

Highlighting the importance of job-oriented education, the adviser said such
education not only enhances skills but also helps build entrepreneurs.

"There is a huge global demand for skilled human resources," he said, adding

online businesses and through group-based training. This positive change, he
added, will play a leading role in the country's development.

Upon arrival at the venue, the adviser was accorded a floral reception.
Later, he visited different stalls of the fair and interacted with job
seekers.
