DHAKA, Dec 24, 2025 (BSS) - Rosatom Technical Academy, as part of its regular activities, hosted an internship programme for young foreign specialists in nuclear technologies, according to a message received here today.
“The ‘InteRussia’ internship was implemented with the support of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation, Rosatom,” it said.
Young representatives from Bolivia, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and others countries attended the internship. The training was aimed at developing a comprehensive understanding of key Russian nuclear technologies and their practical applications in energy, medicine, agriculture and industry, the release said.
Earlier, many young nuclear specialists of Bangladesh received training at the Rosatom Technical Academy. Most of them are currently employed at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant in Pabna, it said.
The release, however, said that participants became familiar with basic principles of shaping national positions of engaging countries in the nuclear sector.
They studied modern methods and tools for effective energy planning and discussed technological solutions and operational issues related to large-capacity nuclear power plants and small modular reactors.
