DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Land Adviser Ali Imam Majumdar has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, an intrepid frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.

In a condolence message, issued today, he said Osman Hadi was a courageous political activist and a fearless voice who always took a firm stand against injustice and oppression.

Mentioning Hadi as an active and courageous voice of his time, the adviser said that his role in contemporary political, social and cultural movements had become a source of inspiration for many. The void created by his untimely demise will not be easy to fill, he noted.

The adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members, fellow fighters and well-wishers.

Sharif Osman Hadi passed away while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital on Thursday night.
