DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, an intrepid frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha.

In a condolence message today, Rizwana Hasan, also the adviser to the Ministries of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Water Resources, said the early demise of Sharif Osman Hadi is an irreparable loss for the country and the nation.

Mentioning that Sharif Osman Hadi was a fearless voice and a courageous organizer of the July Mass Uprising, she said that he was a source of inspiration for democracy-seeking people due to his uncompromising stance against injustice, oppression and repression. 

The firmness, clarity and sense of responsibility with which he articulated the language of the movement before the people will remain memorable in history, she added.

The adviser also said Hadi's contribution to awakening the youth and building public opinion on issues of people's rights and justice was undeniable. His life of struggle, ideals and courage will inspire future generations to stand up against injustice, she noted.

She prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed her deep sympathy to his bereaved family members, fellow fighters and colleagues.
