DHAKA, Dec 14, 2025 (BSS) - The 16th death anniversary of Quazi Azhar Ali, eminent educationist, former secretary, founding chairman and honorary vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University and founder of numerous educational institutions and social worker will be observed tomorrow. 

He passed away at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital on this day in 2009.

Marking the death anniversary, milad and dao mahfil will be held at his grave in Banani graveyard in the city. Foods will also be distributed among the orphan children, said a press release received here today.

Besides, a discussion and doa mahfil will be held at Bangladesh University campus in Mohammadpur at 11 am.
