DHAKA, Dec 10, 2025 (BSS) - A meeting was held at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom today to review the progress of renovation work of various residential halls of Dhaka University (DU).

The meeting was presided over by the University Treasurer Professor Dr M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, President of the Central Coordination Committee for Technical Inspection, Evaluation and Monitoring of various residential halls and buildings.

The Acting Registrar of the university, Acting Director of the Planning and Development Office, Acting Chief Engineer, Director of Accounts, and engineers from the Engineering Department were present at the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the overall progress of the renovation work of various residential halls. 

Various short-term, medium-term and long-term action plans were adopted to complete the renovation work properly. 

Instructions were given to the engineering department of the university to properly supervise the renovation work.
