DHAKA, Dec 10, 2025 (BSS) - President Mohammed Shahabuddin expressed satisfaction over the overall preparations of the Election Commission (EC) for holding the upcoming National polls as an EC delegation, led by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, paid a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban today. 

During the meeting, the Head of State was apprised of preparations for the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (IS) polls as well as referendum by the EC delegation, said a Bangabhaban official this afternoon. 

The EC delegation included EC Commissioners Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Tahmida Ahmad, Md. Anwarul Islam Sarker and Brigadier General (Retd.) Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah, and EC Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.
 
Among others, secretaries concerned, and senior civil and military officials at the Bangabhaban were present there.
