DHAKA, Dec 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Fazil (honors) examinations under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) began today nationwide.

The first papers for first-year, second-year, third-year and fourth-year Fazil students were conducted smoothly across the country, said IAU Exam Controller Mohammad Ali.

He added that over 12,000 students from all four academic years are participating in the exams, which are being held at 92 centers nationwide.

IAU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md Shamsul Alam said the exams are being closely monitored to ensure they are conducted without any irregularities or use of illegal means. 

"We are ensuring proper supervision at all centers so that the exams proceed smoothly," he added.
