DINAJPUR, Nov 30, 2025 (BSS) - Ten teachers of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) have received the Best Presenter Award in recognition of their research and presentation skills.

The awards were handed over this afternoon during the ‘Annual Research Review Workshop and Best Presenter Award Giving Ceremony’ organized by the Institute of Research and Training (IRT), according to a press release. 

HSTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr M Enamul Haque attended the event as the chief guest and conferred the awards with IRT Director Prof Dr Alamgir Hossain in the chair.

The award recipients are Prof Dr Md Alamgir Hossain of the Entomology Department, Prof Dr Md Mohidul Hasan of the Plant Pathology Department, and Prof Dr Md Shafiqur Islam Sikder of the Agronomy Department.

Other awardees are Prof. Dr Md Alamgir Hossain from the Faculty of Business Studies, Prof. Dr Jamanatul Ferdousi from the Faculty of Fisheries, Prof. Dr Md Sajjat Hossain Sarker from the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr Md Rashedul Islam from the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Assistant Professor Rony Tota from the Faculty of Computer and Electrical Engineering 

In addition, Assistant Professor A. S. M. Abu Sayeed from the Faculty of Science and Prof Dr Rozina Yasmin (Lucky) from the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities received the award.
