RAJSHAHI, Nov 18, 2025 (BSS) - Intake test for first year B.Sc Engineering 
courses in the 2025-26 academic year at Rajshahi University of Engineering 
and Technology (RUET) will be held on January 22, 2026 instead of January 23.

The RUET authority took the decision in the meeting of the Admission Test 
Steering Committee held with Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor SM Abdur Razzaque 
in the chair today.
 
This year, for the first time, the test will be held in RUET and the 
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) with similar 
questions.
 
A total of 19,000 students will get scopes for taking part in the entry test 
against 1,200 seats.
 
As per the decision, the test will be held in multiple-choice questions 
(MCQ). 

The students, who have passed SSC and its equivalent examinations in 2022 or 
2023, scoring GPA-4.00 or equivalent grades and HSC or its equivalent 
examinations in 2025, scoring GPA-5.00 or equivalent grades, will get scopes 
for taking part in the test.
