DHAKA, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) - Applications for admission to all government secondary schools across the country, including Dhaka, in 2026 will have to be submitted online only.

This instruction was given in a recent notification, signed by Director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) Professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel.

The notification said students from class I to class IX will be admitted to all government secondary schools across the country, including Dhaka city, in the 2026 academic year. No admission form will be distributed from the schools.

Admission applications can be found online only at <https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd>. The process of accepting online applications will start at 11 am on November 21, 2025 and will continue till 5 pm on December 5, 2025.

The application fee for admission in the academic year 2026 has been fixed at Taka 100 (one hundred), which can be paid only through SMS from Teletalk prepaid mobile.

Applicants will get a list of Thana-based educational institutions during the institution selection process at the time of application. In this case, candidates can select a maximum of five schools in each application in order of preference based on availability. 

However, if both shifts are selected in a double shift school, two choices (02 school choices) will be considered as having been made.
