DHAKA, Nov 2, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today reduced the liquidated natural gas (LPG) price of 12-kg cylinder by Tk 26 for the month of November, 2025.
Now a 12-kg LPG cylinder will be sold at Tk 1,215 against Tk 1,241 of the last month’s rate (October, 2025).
The new price has come into effect from 6 pm today (November 2).
BERC chairman Jalal Ahmed announced the price cut, saying that the prices of all the 13 different sizes of LPG-filled cylinders have been reduced in line with the ARAMCO fixed international price for the current month.
According to the BERC, LPG cylinders of 5.5 kg has been fixed at Tk 557, 12.5 kg at Tk 1,226, 15 kg at Tk1,519, 16 kg at Tk1,620, 18 kg at Tk 1822, 20 kg at Tk 2,025, 22 kg at Tk 2,227, 25 kg at Tk 2,531, 30 kg at Tk 3,037, 33 kg at Tk 3,341, 35 kg at Tk 3,543 and 45 kg at Tk 4,556.
BERC said price of per litre of auto gas has been fixed at Tk 55.58 at the retail lever in private sector.
“We have reduced LPG prices for November in line with new price adjustments by Saudi Arabia-based Aramco that sets the contract price or CP for LPG at the beginning of each month for term contracts,” said the BERC chairman at a media briefing at the BERC conference room.
