JHENAIDAH, Oct 31, 2025 (BSS)- Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman said that none would be allowed to deceive people in Bangladesh in the name of voting.
“For 17 years, none of us could cast our vote. We want to build a Bangladesh where none can make a farce with people in the name of voting,” he said.
Md Asaduzzaman was addressing a rally organized by BNP at Shailkupa of Jhenaidah district here today.
Urging everybody to be imbued with ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the Attorney General said Zia guided the nation in 1971 when they were hopeless. Zia declared the independence and showed the right path to the nation, he observed.
“The Awami League leaders and workers who are who are staying in the country should correct themselves as their leader Sheikh Hasina has left behind them and fled away with her relatives.”
“Now she is hatching conspiracy against the country from abroad, which will bring no benefit for them,” he said.
Rafiqul Islam Biswas, president of Abaipur Union unit of BNP, presided over the meeting while Shailkupa Upazila BNP General Secretary Advocate Humayun Babar Firoz, Organizing Secretary Nazrul Islam Kajol, Islamic University Controller of Examinations Walid Hasan Pikul, and Central Chhatra Dal Vice-President Abu Musa spoke, among others, on the occasion.
