a daylong views-exchange workshop with stakeholders over formulating the text
curriculum based on Social Behavior Change (SBC).
The workshop was held at the UGC auditorium with the collaboration of UNICEF.
UGC Chairman Professor SMA Faiz addressed the event as the chief guest while
33 skilled faculty members, experts on SBC, from various public and private
universities of the country took part in the workshop.

Mashuma Habib and Prof Mohammad Ayub Islam joined the workshop as special

Urging youth to use their potentiality in creative works for the advancement
of the country, UGC Chairman said, "Now our youths are sincere and talented,
but after the July movement, we couldn't engage them properly. As in many
cases, teachers' interest is being prioritized over students' need and
welfare."

student-teacher relationship needs to be strengthened," he added.
Prof Anwar Hossain said, "Under the Social and Behavioral Change (SBC)
project, we have been able to achieve some specific goals including research
repository development, designing 12 course curricula and creating
opportunities for further research in this field."
