DHAKA, Sept 16, 2015 (BSS) - US chargé d'affaires, ad interim to Bangladesh Tracey Ann Jacobson today inspected the seven-day joint exercise "Operation Pacific Angel 25-3" of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and the US Pacific Air Force at BAF Base Zahurul Haque in Chattogram today.
She also visited various Subject Matter Expertise Exchange (SMEE) sites and closely observed SM activities such as Search and Rescue, Maritime and Flood Operations and Crew Resource Management, according to an ISPR press release.
Jacobson exchanged greetings with the members of the air forces of the two countries.
She exchanged pleasantries with the senior air force officers of both the countries. Members of the BAF Base Zahurul Haque and members of the US Pacific Air Force were present during the visit.
The exercise is being held with the participation of one C-130J transport aircraft of BAF, one MI helicopter and two C-130J transport aircraft of the Pacific Air Force.
A total of 150 members of the BAF and 92 members of the US Pacific Air Force are taking part in the joint exercise. The exercise will continue till September 18 next.
