DHAKA, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) - Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen Soneya Murshid today expressed deep shock at the death of eminent folk singer Farida Parveen.

In a condolence message, the adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
 
Farida Parveen breathed her last at a city hospital last night at the age of 71.
