Bangladesh joins global youth network 'HOPE' to boost international cooperation

DHAKA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS) -In a significant move towards fostering international youth collaboration, Bangladesh has officially joined the Hope Network or the Global Network for Youth Competitiveness.

This decision, made in response to an invitation from the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Government of Bahrain, opens new avenues for youth empowerment, innovation and cross-border partnerships.

The announcement was made in a press release by the Ministry of Youth and Sports today.

On Sunday, the Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports gave formal consent to join the global network, marking Bangladesh as its 31st member country.

The HOPE Network, which currently boasts 30 member countries, serves as a global platform dedicated to encouraging youth empowerment, fostering innovation and promoting global partnerships.

Bangladesh's membership in this prestigious network is expected to inject new momentum into the internationalization of the country's youth policies. Through this participation, Bangladesh will gain valuable opportunities to engage in knowledge exchange, share experiences and collaborate on joint initiatives with nations and organizations across the globe.

Additionally, the country is poised to play an active role in addressing global youth challenges, further cementing its commitment to the development of its young population.
