BOGURA, Aug 25, 2025 (BSS)- Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid has said that country’s economy is now stable thanks to hard and relentless efforts of the interim government for last one year.
“The economy of the country during the takeover of the interim government was completely fragile. Now the situation is stable,” she said.
Sharmeen Murshid said this while inaugurating ‘Citizens Right and Climate Justice’ project at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office here today.
The adviser said, by restoring internal confidence we have proved before the international community that Bangladesh is not a bankrupt state.
DC of Bogura Hosna Afroz was in the chair while Chief Executive Officer of Light House-Bogura, Harun-or-Rashid and senior government officials spoke on the occasion.
Different programmes will be implemented to ensure people’s rights and combat the impacts of climate change under the Citizens Rights and Climate Justice Project.
