KHULNA, May 21, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation from the Australian High Commission today paid a courtesy call on Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) VC Prof Dr. Muhammad Masud and discussed prospects for strengthening academic cooperation between Australia and KUET.

The meeting and exchange of views were held at the conference room of KUET's administrative building.

During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on expanding international collaboration in higher education, building academic partnerships, creating new opportunities for students, and enhancing innovation, research activities and global engagement.

They also explored several potential initiatives aimed at deepening cooperation between KUET and different Australian educational institutions.

The Australian delegation included Senior Director (Trade and Investment) for Greater South Asia Mostafizur Rahman and Trade and Investment Commissioner of the Australian High Commission in Dhaka Megha Gupta.

Concerned officials expressed hope that the meeting would play an important role in further expanding future collaboration between KUET and Australian institutions.
