CHATTOGRAM, August 10, 2025 (BSS) - The results of 1,629 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) candidates under the Chattogram Education Board have changed following a re-evaluation of their answer scripts.
Among them, 65 students, who had initially failed, have now passed the exams after their papers were reviewed. Additionally, 64 more students secured the highest grade, GPA-5, as a result of the re-scrutiny.
Professor Dr. Parvaj Sazzad Chowdhury, Controller of Examinations of the Chattogram Education Board, confirmed the revision.
He said that approximately 32,307 answer scripts were re-examined following applications from students, and it was found that the scripts of 1,629 students had not been properly evaluated during the initial assessment.
This year, a total of 1,40,388 students from 1,125 educational institutions appeared in the SSC examination under the Chattogram Board. Of them, 1,01,181 students passed, bringing the overall pass rate to 72.07 percent.
