Sacrifice of July uprising never to go in vein: Abrar

DHAKA, Aug 04, 2025 (BSS)- Education Adviser Dr CR Abrar today said those sacrifice of July fighters would not go in vein as a nation.

 “We will never forget the injured and the deceased of the uprising”, he said.

The education adviser made this remark in a rally and celebration of July 24 on the occasion of Madrasha resistance day of July Uprising.

Vocational and Madrasha Education division organized the event at city’s Golapbag ground adjacent of Sayedabad here.

The adviser said it is not forgettable what was heard and seen in the documentary displayed here. “Even we see various writing on the wall and the determination and aspiration of the youths for building a new Bangladesh have displayed in the graffiti,” he said.

He said, We will have to remember their determination and aspiration and these writings always remember us about the torture and repression, he added.

Once upon a time, the adviser said, the drama of militant has been staged in our country. Innocent people were the main victim of these dramas, he noted.

“We were frustrated that we will never survive as a free nation,” he said.  But this uprising has created an opportunity to build a new Bangladesh and survive independently.

Vocational and Madrashaeducation division secretary Under the Education Ministry Dr KM Kabirul Islam said the Islamic scholars were the victim of disappearance, killing and repression during the immediate past regime.

Madrasha resistance was observed through displaying the film and holding various Islamic cultural programme.
