DHAKA, July 19, 2025 (BSS)- An examiner of public examination will get two years imprisonment if he/she evaluate answer scripts by others.
Dhaka education board informed this today saying the answer sheets of the public exams of the education board are confidential documents.
In a notice signed by the Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board said, “It is a sacred duty of the chief examiners and examiners to maintain confidentiality of the answer scripts.
“It is a punishable offence under Section 10 of the Examination Conduct Act 1980 to fill up or evaluate the answer sheets of an examination by any person other than the chief examiner or examiner,” the notice said.
If this offence is proved, the concerned examiner will be qualified for two-year imprisonment and fine or both, it said.
The board has advised all examiners to evaluate the answer scrips personally and preserve the sheets of public examinations confidential.
