DHAKA, July 14, 2025 (BSS) - Attorney General (AG) Md. Asaduzzaman today said the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) will live up to the expectations of the people through good works.
"RAB will fulfill the public aspirations through cultivating humanity, showing respect to the law and performing the responsibility vested upon them with utmost sincerity and good works," he said.
He was addressing as the chief guest at a seminar of the RAB to provide a better understanding of the 'conventional law, public expectations and what RAB should do' at the force's headquarters in the capital's Uttara.
Asaduzzaman said that RAB has done a lot of good works in the past in maintaining law and order and restoring peace in the minds of the people.
He also highlighted important aspects about various do's and don'ts which are closely related to the daily activities of the forces.
The attorney general hoped that RAB will continue their good works in the coming days and thus gain the public trust.
At the seminar, he also discussed various perspectives on how to meet the challenge of public expectations.
Apart from the seminar, the RAB also held a training workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its headquarters aimed at giving the members of the force a better understanding about the AI.
Assistant Professor Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Bangladesh University of Professionals Maliha Tabassum was the key-note speaker at the programme.
She discussed the basic concept, use, and future prospects of AI at the training.
Senior officers, directors, other officers of the RAB Forces Headquarters, commanders and officers of all battalions in Dhaka were present at the programmes.
In addition, all officers of the RAB battalions participated in the programmes through virtual platforms.
