LONDON, July 1, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Last month was England's warmest and the
UK's second-warmest June since records began in 1884, the country's
meteorological office said on Tuesday, which was also the hottest day of the
year so far.
The UK's mean temperature for the month was only surpassed by June 2023, with
England recording a mean of 16.9 degrees Celcius (62 degrees Fahrenheit),
according to Met Office provisional figures.
