DHAKA, June 24, 2025 (BSS) - Police on Monday arrested 16 crime suspects 
including two top criminals of "Pathali Gang" in a special operation from 
various areas under Mohammadpur Police Station in the capital.

The arrested have been identified as Sabit Ibne (33), Rafiqul Islam (18), 
Farooq (27), Arif (26), Sajjad (22), Alamin (28) , Rakib Mia (30), Yasin (20) 
, Sharif (24), Mehedi Hasan Bappi (24), Soleiman (20), Akhtaruzzaman Titop 
(57), Bayozid alias Rana (25), Raihan (27), Raju (30) and Sujan (25). Of 
them, Yasin and Sharif were two top criminals of "Pathali Gang". 

Some 10-12 members of the Pathali Gang including Hasan, Yasin, Pipra Rajib, 
Rabbi, Sabbir, and Kashem hacked six people of a family with knives in 
Jafrabad area under Mohammadpur Police Station on May 14, 2025. 

Earlier, police arrested second-in-command of the Pathali Gang, Sahin and 
Pipra Rajib.
