Bangladesh Mission to boost opportunities for students in South Korea

DHAKA, May 17, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Ambassador to South Korea Toufiq Islam Shatil has said that his mission in Seoul would work to increase opportunities for Bangladeshi students to pursue higher education in South Korea, including enhanced access to scholarships.
 
He made the remarks when a delegation of Bangladeshi expatriate teachers, researchers, and students residing in South Korea called on him at the Bangladesh embassy in Seoul on Friday, according to a message received here today.  

During the meeting, the Ambassador attentively listened to the challenges and opportunities shared by the participants and provided necessary guidance while assuring them of the embassy’s support in addressing their concerns.

The envoy encouraged greater participation of expatriate Bangladeshi teachers and students in embassy-organized programs and events in Seoul.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh embassy in Seoul has launched an initiative to create a database of Bangladeshi expatriates in South Korea for the purpose of disseminating important information and enhancing community welfare.
