DHAKA, Aug 9, 2026 (BSS) - The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published simultaneously at the respective educational institutions and online at 10:00am tomorrow, according to a notice issued by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.

The notice, issued on August 6, 2026, said institutions will be able to download their respective result sheets through the prescribed methods, while examinees will be able to know their results through SMS.

The notice was signed by Professor Jasmin Taslima Banu, Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.

The results published by the education boards must be collected by the respective educational institutions through the websites: (https://eduboardresults.gov.bd) and (https://educationboardresults.gov.bd).

The institutions have been advised to download and publish the results received online by clicking on the "Result" section of the website and using the respective board and the institution's EIIN.

Examinees will also be able to collect their results from their respective educational institutions.

They can also collect their results through the common websites of the education boards: (https://eduboardresults.gov.bd) and (https://educationboardresults.gov.bd) as well as through the websites of the respective education boards.

Besides, examinees can obtain their results by sending an SMS from any mobile number to 16140 or 16222. 

To receive the result through SMS, they have to type: SSC <space> first three letters of the board name <space> roll number <space> examination year and send it to 16140.

Example: SSC Dha 123456 2026 - Send to 16140.

The notice said results will not be available at the education boards, the Ministry of Education or newspaper offices.

Applications for re-scrutiny of results will be accepted online from August 11 to August 17, 2026. 

The application process and relevant instructions will be available in a notice published on the websites of the education boards.

Earlier, the theoretical examinations of the SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 and continued until May 20. 

The practical examinations were held from June 7 to June 14.

A total of 1,857,344 candidates sat for the examinations under the country's 11 education boards. 

Of them, 930,305 were male and 927,039 were female.
