DHAKA, Dec 9, 2025 (BSS)- The Election Commission (EC) has extended the deadline for correcting foreign addresses through the Postal Vote BD mobile app at the request of expatriates from seven countries.

Election Commission Director (Public Relations) Ruhul Amin Mallick said this in a special message today. 

It said, “At the request of expatriate voters, the deadline for correction of overseas addresses has been extended in a special arrangement only in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain until 9 am on December 14, (Bangladesh time).”

However, it also stated that any opportunity to correct address for registered voters from other countries will remain in place until 9 am on December 9.
